Accware has been working with the EKW Group of companies to help bring all of their web sites under common ownership and control.  The web sites were previously hosted by professional organisations who provided an excellent hosting service with added value contributions from a central repository of information.  However, this came at a high cost per month and an even higher cost if they wanted to modify the content and presentation of the sites.  For the time being, the group will use WordPress for each of their sites and these may be hosted by Accware, which is the subject of a number of other factors at this stage.

Accware installed WordPress on a number of test domains and trained EKW resources in the basics of WordPress and the use of FTP.  The content of all the sites were migrated in a matter of days, so only the final presentation remains outstanding.

It’s nice to know that there are free tools available to build and maintain high quality web sites, unfortunately the training doesn’t come free and neither does the services of a php skilled design guru!
