We’ve been following the changes Google has made to SEO and the apparent weight Google places on local business advertising.  So why then, when you type in a simple search phrase like ‘Xero Accountants in Bolton’, does it bring up Xero Accountants in London?

We’re a bit miffed about this, because there are hundreds of smaller businesses turning to Cloud based solutions like Xero, so there should be plenty of opportunities for those companies advertising UK-wide in the South East of England.

Whilst it’s theoretically possible to provide a completely remote service to users of Cloud solutions, we like to meet with our clients from time-to-time and you’d think that would cost less then shipping somebody in from London.
