Vend
Vend is a web-based Point of Sale & stock management solution for retail outlets. It is rented as a service in either a small, medium or large package to suit your requirements. The medium and large packages come with stock management and e-commerce integration (with Shopify) as standard and all packages can integrate with Xero using web services.
Having installed and worked with Vend, we’re impressed with its features and simplicity. Vend works well with Google chrome, a Motorola LS9208i Scanner and Star TSP100 Receipt printer connected to your PC or for a really professional Point of Sale, the J2 615 or 630 terminals.
We’ve recently completed a project setting up Vend for one of our Retail clients. After a comprehensive stock take was completed, the data was uploaded to the cloud using one of the Vend-supplied templates, saving lots of time. We installed the Motorola LS9208i scanner and Star TSP 100 eco printer, which worked virtually “out of the box” with Vend and used an on-site PC to keep costs down. Vend works equally well with J2’s 615 touch screen point of sale solution for those wanting a professional POS implementation. Vend can be setup to integrate seamlessly with Xero so that sales and monies collected are automatically sent to Xero (through the Web) as part of the “Day End” process reducing duplication of effort.
